One of Afro-pop rising songsters in the Nigerian music industry, Life Etim Wealth Asuquo with the stage name Wealthmusik has released her debut single titled “Jo”(Dance).

With a face and body that could pass for a runway model and the voice likened to that of a pop queen, Wealthmusik has held her audience spellbound for years while she was busy doing her weekly gig. With her debut single released in December 2020, she’s ready to stake a claim on mainstream pop music. Born in the early 90s, the singer and songwriter, a native of Akwa Ibom state, has come up through the ranks as a live band musician.

Performing at event centers like Crossroads at Eko Hotels and Radisson Blu in Victoria Island, Wealthmusik has always entertained music lovers. She has also entertained guests with her beautiful voice, performing at the Federal Palace Hotel, Oriental Hotel, and Sheraton Hotel at Ikeja. But with the release of her first single, she’s set to reach for the sky.

According to her, “I have worked as a backup singer for Niniola, Jeff Akoh, Oge kimono, and J’odie. Recording my debut single was another inspiring chapter in my career. I recorded that song as a dance track to lift the spirit of my fans. Double G that produced the song mentions the word ‘Jo’ that means dance, and I jumped on it. It’s a song so many people can relate to, and it’s available for streaming on all music platforms.” Wealthmusik once said her role models are Asa, Tori Kelly, and Simi.
All things equal, I hope she can emulate their success and surpass the trio.
