In the movie industry, Rogers Ofime is not new. The prolific filmmaker who has spent over 15 years in making films and television series said that filmmaking is his life. “I don’t think I will do anything else apart from this. It has been a wonderful journey for me and I will continue to contribute my own quota to the industry.”

He recently informs that the film, Oloibiri, which received 13 nominations in the 5th edition of AMVCA, will be showcased in North America. “Oloibiri was very successful in Nigeria. We have partnered with an American company called Afrowest. They are doing a North American tour of Oloibiri. They believe in our vision and they are taking Oloibiri round theatres in the U.S. starting with Los Angeles on February 3.

We are quite excited to know that people recognised our effort. I am also working on a few projects this year and will shoot in Lagos, Kaduna, Abuja and possibly Jos. We have a series and movies, which will be unveiled later and we hope our viewers would love them. The Nigerian entertainment industry is really growing and you really need to know your onion for you to remain relevant.”
