The 10th anniversary of the youth empowerment programme, Life In My City Art Festival (LIMCAF), will be coming up from October 24, with exhibitions and lectures, ending on October 29, with a grand finale and dinner.

It aims at discovering creative talents of youths and encouraging a sustainable livelihood through an art career. This initiative is Arguably the largest and the most consistent Amateur Art event in Nigeria, the initiatives continues to discover and expose young budding artists, launching them into the mainstream.

The event was founded in 2006 by Chief Robert Orji, a philanthropist and the Chairman/Chief Executive Officer of Rocana Limited, with the early collaboration of Alliance Francaise and the French Embassy in Nigeria. And with the subsequent support of the private sector, LIMCAF, has taken a life of its own as a yearly creative destination for the last nine years.

The organisers, however, are using this medium to reach businesses and captains of industry, to solicit support for this exciting event.
