Ibadan Film Circle Inaugurates  Legacy Series, Honours Arulogun

The Ibadan Film Circle has perfected plan to hold maiden edition of its Legacy Series featuring veteran broadcaster, film and television professional, as well as arts and culture administrator, Alhaji Gboyega Arulogun as the guest of honour.

The Ibadan Film Circle has perfected plan to hold maiden edition of its Legacy Series featuring veteran broadcaster, film and television professional, as well as arts and culture administrator, Alhaji Gboyega Arulogun as the guest of honour.

Billed for December 4, 2015 at the Arts Theatre and Senior Staff Club, University of Ibadan beginning from 4p.m., the initiative is designed to host important/iconic personalities that have distinguished themselves in the arts. “And owing to his undeniable contributions to the arts, Alhaji Arulogun has been nominated to be the first personality to share his experiences with the Ibadan Film Circle members and well-wishers,” noted co-convener, Oluwafiropo Ewenla in a statement.

According to Ewenla, the first part of the event will take place at the arts theatre from 4pm where, “after sharing his professional experience with the audience, there would be a question and answer session.”

Ibadan Film Circle is a body of filmmakers, film scholars, producers, directors, technicians, actors, critics and journalists in Nigeria and in the diaspora. Some of those expected to be in attendance include, Professor Remi Raji, Tunde Kelani, Sola Olorunyomi, Niji Akanni, Judith Audu, Toyin Bifarin, Segun Arinze and a host of others as well as students of the university and practitioners from professional bodies.
