The trailer for Inkblot Productions “Day Of Destiny” (DOD) has gone viral on the Internet, with movie lovers unable to contain their excitement for what undoubtedly will be Nigeria’s biggest family adventure movie.

DOD chronicles the adventures of Chidi (Olumide Oworu) and Rotimi (Denola Grey), two teenage brothers who travel to the past in an attempt to change their family’s fate but end up getting more than they bargained for when things don’t go as planned.

Written and directed by Akay Mason and Abosi Ogba, the movie stars Norbert Young, Ireti Doyle, Jide Kosoko, Toyin Abraham, Ini Dima-Okojie, Blossom Chukwujekwu, and Broda Shaggi in supporting roles.

The ambitious nature of the movie, Nollywood’s first-ever time travel movie has people wondering what else the folks at Inkblot Productions and Anthill have up their sleeves.

Earlier this year, it was announced that Inkblot partnered with Netflix to create a six-part drama series named “Far From Home.” They’re also been behind major Nollywood hits like “The Wedding Party”, “Up North”, “The Set-Up”, and more recently, “Who’s The Boss” and “Quam’s Money.”

Anthill Studios on the other hand are responsible for Elevator Baby and will release their third film Prophetess featuring Toyin Abraham in 2021

DOD will be available in cinemas across Nigeria from the 1st of January 2021.
