In a renewed effort aimed at pushing out quality contents, Fojo Media Production, headed by Mrs. Faith Ojo, has completed shooting of its romantic comedy, The Reunion.

The movie tells the story of four friends from high school, who re-unite to plan the 50th anniversary of their alma mater. As a battle of superiority stirs up and issues from the past are re-visited, secrets are revealed that threaten to tear up their seemingly perfect lives.

The four friends are: Mercy Johnson who played Amaka Okafor; Tana Adelana as Lola Coker; Mercy Aigbe as Tosin Olowookere and Lillian Esoro as Ufuoma Ikomi.

Others include: Jide Kosoko, Chioma Emeruah Chigul, Frededrick Leonard, Jaiye Kuti, Femi Jacobs and Lateef Adedimeji.

According to the Executive Producer and CEO Fojo Media Productions, Faith Ojo, “I hope that the young and old embrace this movie, as this will motivate me to bring in investors from the United States into the Nigerian movie industry to improve our economy.”

The businesswoman said that her vision is all about creating jobs. “I have always been very passionate about African arts and not just Nigerian movies, hence, I came back to be hands on to run the business and know its nitty gritty.”

Speaking on the future of the outfit, she said they plan to do more cinemas movies and TV series even as there are other ongoing projects.

Producer/Director, Thomas Odia, The Reunion said the movie tells the story of not judging a book by its cover. “Today in our society we have a lot of people who pretend to be who they are not, so be yourself and what is yours will come your way.

On what makes the movie stand out, he said that the choice of actors makes the difference because they are actually true to their characters, “sometimes we have brilliant actors who may not fit into the roles.

Just because they have the popularity or the name, people tend to use them for specific roles that they would easily portray; if you have a character that is not sensual and you reverse the order, you won’t get what you want.”

Fojo Media has also completed shoot for another romantic comedy, Kasanova that was produced by Eddy Young and directed by Asurf Oluseyi.

The movie, which stars Ayo Makun, Helen Paul, Abraham Totin, Ireti Doyle, Odunlade Adekola and others, tells the story of a playboy with no interest in love after the death of his wife, he decides to turn his life around when he meets his son’s music instructor. The problem becomes the conflicts with his son’s interest.
