MUSIC is universal, like it said, Dorien Oluwakemi Jacobs though a Briton by birth but raised in Neatherlands has proved this as she sings in the Yoruba language fluently, a language she learnt after she got married to Abiodun Jacobs who gradually integrated her in the Yoruba culture, habits and language, by teaching her his traditional cultural songs for ministration, being a talented musician and composer himself.

Dorien’s interest in music caused her to master the flute; she also had voice training, violin, and piano lessons and taught herself how to play the guitar. She began ministering in her teenage years playing in church bands during big youth conferences.

Dorien, who holds a Bachelor of Nursing at the University in Ede, in the Netherlands with specialization in fertility and woman’s health in the UK, met her husband in 2002 and with like passion, they established the Jacob Cornerstone House of Music and have taken their ministration all over the world to prove that only through Him everything is possible and wherever you come from, God can change your story around.

After her first ministration at RCCG Victory House London in 2011, Dorien was immediately invited to USA and ministered in RCCG churches here in Nigeria and in Baltimore, Washington DC and Bowie and other places.

The mother of two released an album titled; Oluwamodupe, in 2012, which is registered, in The UK and Nigeria, making her the first white lady to produce a Yoruba album in Nigeria, she continues to bless souls around the world both in Yoruba, her second language as well as English Language.
