A London based digital multicast, cultural, entertainment and lifestyle channel, SRTV production has begun the maiden edition of the SRTV Talent Expo in Nigeria. The event which started today, December 4th will run through 6th at the Festival Hotels, Festac town, Amuwo Odofin, Lagos.

The three days exciting live event is packed with film screening, entertainment and awards presentation experience that is well structured to serve as a marketplace where talents are recognized, groomed and projected. The event is essentially made up of SRTV Moonlight Film Festival, Talent Hunts, fashion show/contest, face of the year and Talent Awards.

According to the founder and host, Ogbevire Ashaiku popularly known as Daddy Kris, the expo is an awards recognition/talent hunt brand that is purpose-built on celebrating, showcasing, projecting, and promoting stand-out individuals, celebrities, talents, investors, media personalities/brands, and all relevant stakeholders within Nigeria, Africa and the global entertainment industry.

“It is an international networking event designed to scout and empower talents in Nigeria, whilst rewarding, celebrating, and honouring those who have contributed to the growth of the Nigerian creative industry.”

Ashaiku stressed that the show is aimed at Talent discovery out of the polite drawing rooms into the clamour of the streets.

Nigerians of all ages will be provided with the right tools to showcase their talent. We aim to develop a balanced, fair, and transparent awards/talent hunt platform that will celebrate standout talents and celebrities, whilst providing a once in a lifetime opportunity for promising talents to emerge and excel.

Shading more light on the moonlight film festival, Ashaiku said that the film screenings would be done under the moonlight in an open setting; it will screen films from selected distinguished Nollywood filmmakers from the United State, United Kingdom, and Nigeria.
