Aroloye Samuel Ayomide Aka Koloflow talks about his new mixtape ‘Sleeper’

Nigerian artist, Aroloye Samuel Ayomide Aka Koloflow is gaining maximum airplay from his official released single and is set to unveil his official new mixtape titled ‘Sleeper’.

Ayomide, who announced his mixtape said music is soul lifting and no doubt has an influence on people, adding that only a few know this.

He said the Sleeper Mixtape comprises of songs with love, advice and undiluted vibes to raise the body and dance to the rhythm.

Ayomide, a computer science final year (400level) student of Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba-Akoko, hails from the royal family of Idanre kingdom. He developed an interest in singing and began his music career at a very tender age. He is a Nigerian hip hop recording artist, songwriter, and rapper.

Ayomide revealed that this is his first official mixtape which comprises of six tracks, including a bonus hit which was all written by him – mixed and mastered by BBL and some other tracks produced by Zionbeats and Blaqman

When speaking about the first single ‘Afrovibe’, he said the Afrovibe is a new dimension to show the new sound, newness which depicts the name ‘Koloflow’ from what people used to know him as. According to him, AfroVibe is more like a genre to him – vibing with no stress.

Speaking on his tracks, Ayomide explained that ‘Sweet Potatoe’, is all about being emotionally attached to a girl and how much the artiste admires and would never trade her for anything, while ‘Ludo’ was inspired by WandeCoal and really brought out the sound in Koloflow.

He said ‘Slow Mo’ is just like an anthem for every single soul out there on the street chasing their dreams even when they should sleep, while ‘Mamacita’, from the beginning to the end is a spectacular view of attributing a young, beautiful, and well-nurtured lady with what a man wants.

He said the song entails the summary of love and passion for oneself towards another, while ‘Enitan’ is just like the saying, what a boy sees while standing on an Iroko tree, an elder can see more even while sitting on the ground.

Ayomide said that this track is a story behind the song, adding that Enitan was written in 2015 and was recorded in 2020.
