Following the success recorded by her award-winning debut feature film, Just Not Married, Nollywood actress and producer, Judith Audu-Foght, is set to shoot her second feature. The Judith Audu Productions and Iroko TV partnership’s new flick is titled Stormy Hearts, directed by Tope Alake and written by Brenda Ogbuka and Chijioke Ononiwu.

It stars Christiana Martin, Theresa Edem, Eddie Watson, Kenneth Okoli, Fred Amata, Rotimi Salami, Kelechi Udegbe, Gregory Ojefua, Omowunmi Dada, Tomiwa Kukoyi, Etinosa Idemudia, Debbie Ohiri, and a host of others.

In it, Basi, a music producer, quarrels with his protégé, Kachi, a talented singer, over her partying ways. She abandons him for Johnson, a bigger music producer in town, and the breakup hits Basi hard. Meanwhile, Ella, a prostitute, escapes from her abusive pimp to another city to start a new life. She finds an apartment right next to Basi’s flat, where she would hear Basi playing mournfully on the piano each night. Ella and Basi’s paths cross and after much pleading from Ella, they develop a relationship that changes both their lives forever.

According to Audu-Foght, “Stormy Hearts is a feel good film, embodied with lovely music and filled with amazing actors. It’s a story a lot of people will relate with and it has everything a good movie needs – comedy, romance, drama and music. We are excited about it and we believe everyone will love it. We intend to entertain our audience and make them enjoy what Nollywood is offering, as we are proud of our products and we hope to keep improving and attracting investors to enable us produce even way better films.”
