Africa Meets Reggae musical festival holds

The Africa Meets Reggae and World Music International Festival will hold this weekend, November 27 – 28, 2015 in Lagos at Ember Creek, Ikoyi and Hockey Pitch, National Stadium, Surulere respectively. It will showcase the top names in reggae and world music.
  
Festival headliners are Victor Essiet and The Mandators (Rat Race), Majek Fashek (The Rain Maker), Oritse Femi, Eljai (U.S.), Burna Boy, Pasuma Wonders (Oga nla 1), Ras Kimono (Dub Master), Orits Wiliki (Cool Man Revolutionair), Tee Mac, Righteous Man, Stella Monye, Black Rasta (Ghana), Redfyah (Ghana) and St. Peters.

Africa Meets Reggae has been an annual music event hosted by Echodelic Music and Dub Club in Los Angeles for years now, but now franchised to Victor Essiet (Mystic Records, U.S.) for Nigeria and Africa. This year’s Africa Meets Reggae music festival will be unique and memorable as it cuts across all genres of music with good lyrical content.
  
It will be a two-day event at two different venues in Lagos. The first, tagged ‘Executive Show,’ will be at Ember Creek, 32 Awolowo Road, Ikoyi, on Friday, November 27 while the second, tagged ‘The People’s Show,’ will be at Hockey Pitch, National Stadium, Surulere, on Saturday, November 28.
