Stanbic IBTC Bank and TVC Communications have partnered with Dufil Prima Foods, makers of Indomie Instant Noodles for 2018 edition of Indomie Independence Day Award (IIDA) holding in October.

Speaking on the partnership, the Group Public Relations and Event Manager, Dufil Prima Foods, Mr. Tope Ashiwaju, said the partnership would ensure that the CSR initiative not only meets its set objectives, but also would benefit Nigerian children who are the core target of the CSR.

Ashiwaju stated: “This partnership with TVC Communications and Stanbic IBTC is highly appreciated by the Dufil Prima Foods family.

The partnership will go a long way in showcasing the extraordinary acts of heroism in Nigerian children.

The deal provides IIDA with the opportunity to utilise TVC Communications platforms and popular programmes such as: Your View and Wake Up Nigeria for guest appearances, news coverage and advert spot booking to the tune of millions of naira.

With this partnership, some past IIDA heroes will appear on TVC shows to share their experiences, aspirations and views about the award in particular and life generally.”

TVC Director of Programmes, Morayo Afolabi-Brown, said: “TVC is very glad to partner with Indomie on the IIDA award, which has been on for the past 11 years.

Through this partnership, we want to encourage other children at home to always look for ways to contribute to the development of the nation, knowing that their deeds will certainly be celebrated .”

The Head, Marketing & Communications of Stanbic IBTC Bank Nkiru Olunide-Ojo praised Indomie for coming up with the IIDA award, noting that the bank would not shy away from any activity that would encourage all-round development of Nigerian children.

The 2018 edition of the award will add three more winners to the Indomie hall of fame from the three categories – physical bravery, social bravery and Intellectual bravery.

They will be rewarded with scholarship prizes worth millions of naira.
