Group wants women to explore potential for influence generation
Nigerian women have been urged to carefully explore and develop their innate potential to the fullest for the benefits of generations coming after them.
Executive Coordinator, Women on the Watch Network International, (WOW), Vivian Akinyosoye, gave the advice during the second edition anniversary of the organisation held in Lagos recently.
She said the foundation is aimed at raising transformational women leaders who are purposeful, valuable are positioned to influence their generation.
Akinyosoye urged women to take care of themselves besides catering for their families and the society.
She enjoined women to discover their purpose, stressing that every woman is a leader and homebuilder whose purpose is connected to a problem in the nation or community they were born to solve.
Akinyosoye advised women to see their fellow females as sisters and not as rivals, while encouraging them to pursue their vision and support one another for peaceful co-existence in their communities.
According to her, a virtuous woman can be measured by many lives she has impacted positively which underscores why women must strive to live a virtuous life and impact her world.
She encouraged the women to live healthy and develop good habits that will keep them strong and prolong their days.
Akinyosoye also admonished women to build strong relationships, learn to know how to connect with people through instrumental relationships to build great network.
