IN an effort geared towards giving back to the society through the transformation of the community, Sarah Adebisi Sosan (SAS) Foundation has organised an entrepreneurial training and mentoring program in Lagos.

The workshop, which is targeted at women and young people, will hold on today and tomorrow at Ojo Multipurpose Hall, Rest house street, off Iyana Iba bus stop, Ojo Town, Lagos.

Speaking about the programme, Chairperson and founder of the foundation and the former deputy governor of Lagos state, Princess Sarah Adebisi Sosan said SAS was established with mission to empower women and young persons through gainful financial independence.

This according to her will help government’s efforts at reducing poverty amongst young persons and women.

She stated that SAS primary focus is capacity building for women and youths to interact effectively.

Sosan said: “SAS strives to ensure that women and young people are able to redistribute economic opportunities within their families and communities. SAS activities will also enhance social developments and motivation of the girl child education through some forms of educational scholarship.”

She explained that the workshop would therefore equip the participants with professional business management skills to help in their day to day running of their businesses.

Sosan stated further, “Equally it is to further enrich their abilities to take up challenges in their socio -economic status.
