To successfully promote professionalism, Toptech Engineering limited has advised engineers to give priority to quality products.

Speaking at the just concluded empowerment programme organised by the company, its Group Executive Director, Business Development, Adedeji Adeniyi, said the training was designed to enlighten engineers in various workplace on the need to promote standard in terms of quality product usage for maintenance.

He said: “Quality should be the first priority of an engineer because the job has to do with so much life risk, which can be a little bit reduced, when quality products are used”.

He added that the industry is faced with so much challenges as a result of fake products, which have taken over the market, adding that, the development can only be reduced by not patronising sub standard products.

Besides, Adeniyi urged participants not to see the empowerment programme as business as usually, rather should be ready to make changes where needed in order to sustain the industry good reputation”.

Also speaking at the event, Solution Specialist, Toptech Engineering Limited, Adeolu Olutayo said the purpose of the programme is to enlighten industries on the use of equipment.

According to him, quality products will curtail accident, risk and predict whatever failure that is imminent.

He stated further that equipment selection will stop untimely death among users, adding that people will be more safety conscious.

Olutayo urge engineers to take note that use of refrigerant (R22) in Air Conditioner (AC) system is phased out because “it depletes ozone layer, consequently drastic increase in solar radiation, and to substitute for this, R407C and 410A are being used now in AC, because these are environmentally friendly refrigerant with more cooling COP (Co-efficient of Perfomance)”.
