Plans are underway by GODP Consulting to boost the human capital wealth in Africa in order to upscale Human Resource (HR) and Information and Communication Technology (ICT) practitioners.

The Lead consultant of the firm, Seun Akinyelu, who disclosed this explained that until Artificial Intelligence (AI) is very much developed, human capital is much needed to accomplish anything in the world as at today, stressing that it takes human capital to create any other form of capital.

He maintained that while machine may eliminate the need to have hundreds of production workers, it only takes human capital to design and build the machine.

He said: “As we move deeper and deeper into a knowledge-based economy that depends on information, knowledge and high-level skills, human capital is becoming increasingly important.

At GODP consulting, we are geared towards making business processes efficient, business people effective and businesses profitable all over the world.

“We have designed the HR Executive Breakfast Meeting which is a quarterly conference and the HRTECH West African Conference which is an annual conference to stimulate the conversation that would equip HR managers with the right tools to drive the Human Capital Revolution required to evolve Africa.”

He said that many businesses were at inflection points within their life cycles.

He stressed that having implemented previous HR technologies that got them this far, businesses seek more immutable game plan that will guarantee them efficient and endless business triumphs.

Akinyelu said that the next conference would be on ‘Shift from Employee Engagement to Employee Experience’, which is expected to hold in Lagos today at the Westwood Hotel, Ikoyi .

Participants would benefit from exposures to new technologies and methodology that will drive efficiency in their companies and businesses and be able to meet their target market and increase their brand awareness in West Africa.
