CRC Credit Bureau appoints Alabi as Chairman

Dele pix CopyThe Board of Directors of CRC Credit Bureau has approved the appointment of Dele Alabi as the new Chairman for the Board.

Alabi replaced Mrs. Caroline Anyanwu, who has served out her two-year term as Chairman.

According to a statement, Dele Alabi is the Executive Director, Finance and Risk, at Ecobank Nigeria and currently serves as the representative for the FCMB/Ecobank bloc on the Board of CRC.

He graduated from the Obafemi Awolowo University with a First Class Honours degree in Accounting, after which he received an MBA (Finance) from the University of Lagos.

With a career in the banking sector spanning over two decades, as well as long-term service at the Ecobank Group, he has held several key positions in the areas of Strategy and Business Development, Corporate Banking, Treasury and Financial Institutions and Risk Management.

He is also an award winning Chartered Stockbroker (Associate), Chartered Accountant (Fellow), Chartered Banker (Fellow) and Chartered Tax practitioner (Associate).

His vast experience in the banking sector, especially in the area of risk management, as well as his academic excellence will undoubtedly have a positive impact in driving the vision of CRC, as we aim to reduce the risk associated with lending in Nigeria.
