CIBN, UK institutions partner on professional programmes

The Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (CIBN) has partnered with higher institutions and professional bodies in the United Kingdom as part of measures to improve the certification status of the institute as well as enable participants to gain dual awards.

The President/Chairman of council of CIBN, Otunba (Mrs) ‘Debola Osibogun, during a recent visit to the UK, explained that the visit was to explore how the existing relationship between the Institute and Bangor University can be deepened with respect to the Chartered Banker MBA programme.

According to her, the Chartered Banker MBA programme (CBMBA) is an innovative programme that allows participants gain a dual award of a top MBA in Banking and Finance and the prestigious “Chartered Banker” status.

“The programme is in partnership with the Chartered Institute of Bankers in Scotland, Bangor University Business School, Wales and the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria.”
