Suntory names Anjan Patole new MD
Suntory Beverage and Food Nigeria Limited (SBFN), has named Anjan Patole as its new Managing Director.
He replaces Gauthier Leveque. Patole joins the company from Sameer Agriculture & Livestock Ltd., Nairobi, Kenya, which he pitched tent with in 2014 as Chief Executive Officer, overseeing seven East African countries.
The new SBFN boss, who holds a degree in Business Administration (Economics) from Mumbai University, has over 30 years’ experience in business administration, operations, marketing and distribution management in telecommunications and fast consumer moving goods (FCMG) industries.
He was also the Chief Operating Officer (COO) in Tata Teleservices, UP, Mumbai, and Director (Business Operations) for PepsiCo, India, responsible for Pepsi, 7Up, Mirinda, Slice, Tropicana and Aquafina.
“My joining Suntory Beverage & Food Nigeria is a great opportunity to build on the impressive foundation laid by my predecessors, and to work with a committed Nigerian team.
“Suntory Group has seen the huge potential in Nigeria, and I am optimistic that we will continue grow Lucozade and Ribena brands and deliver value to our customers,” Pantole said.
