THE minister of Aviation, Osita Chidoka, has commissioned staff buses to facilitate their movement to and from work

  The purchase of the staff welfare buses according to the minister of aviation is a staff welfare initiative and another landmark of the Goodluck Jonanthan effort to be workers friendly to support the Nigerian workers and to support local industries.

  Osita added that by providing the buses, the president has created jobs for Nigerians in Nigeria and mobility for the staff of the ministry of aviation in a safe and secured manner.He said the idea of creating jobs is embedded in building local and creating jobs for Nigerians in Nigeria.

Furthermore, the minister said the provision of the staff welfare buses is a re-affirmation of President Jonathan’s transformation agenda and a proof the government has the Nigerian worker in mind.

Osita admonished the workers to use the buses effectively, safely and sustainability.

  The Chairman of the aviation Joint Unions, Hector Nandi, responding 

Thanked the minister for the purchase of the buses and asked him to carry the staff appreciation to the President.

Hector said, ‘’the provision of these buses is our own dividend of the President’s administration and we are happy about it’’. We thank the

President for all the projects he has done in the aviation sector.

  The Chairman however said like Oliver twist, the staff are appreciative of what the government has done, but that more should be done.
