Why I’m Not Ready For Marriage – Flavour

Nigerian musician, Chinedu Okoli, popularly known as Flavour, has admitted he is not ready to get married yet.

He disclosed this in a recent interview on Bounce, where the hitmaker explained his perspective on relationships and marriage.

Flavour revealed that his current lifestyle and personal preferences are major factors in his decision.

“I love knacking girls in the hotel more than marriage,” he admitted.

The singer also stressed the importance of self-awareness, stating, “You have to be that person for yourself first, and when you are done with yourself, you can now start looking for a wife or husband. I’m not in that mental state to accommodate a wife right now.”

He further elaborated on his struggles with commitment and how his character might negatively impact any potential relationship.

“If I tell myself I’m looking for a wife now, I will fail. Any girl that is coming my way I will disappoint her. My character will deal with her and it will not work out.

“My character is not fair to women, that’s why I try as much as possible to remain single. The worst thing you can do is to treat a woman badly and I don’t want to do that.”

Reflecting on his experiences, Flavour acknowledged his appreciation for marriage but expressed a stronger preference for his current lifestyle.

“When I look at the hotel and I look at beautiful marriages, I really like it but I like the hotel more because the Ashawo in me is on another level,” he added.
