Matthew 19:26, “But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.”

Whatever God determines to do, either in heaven or on this planet earth must come to pass. He is in perfect control of everything going on in the earth, and in heaven. Power belongs to Him and in demonstration of this power, human beings who believe in Him are the beneficiaries of the power. We, as human beings faithfully believe that we are God’s creations and that at the end of this life, He, God will take us to heaven based on our honest and faithful service to Him here on earth. The biblical account of creation proves that God the creator has power to do all things. Everything was spoken into existence, an evidence of the demonstration of the raw power by the superior being who owns everything.

In Mark 10:27, the Bible says, “And Jesus looking upon them saith, With men it is impossible, but not with God: for with God all things are possible.”

The impossibilities of men are easily possible with God. In the human world, precisely the earth, God uses human beings to execute projects that are beneficial to men. Ordinarily, men have no power of doing any spirit-controlled work, but when empowered by God, men can do exploits. That is why God has called men into spiritual projects. Elijah was an ordinary man like you and I, but because of God’s anointing on him, he performed many impossible things.

When King Ahab went against the will of God and imported a foreign god called Baal, to be worshipped by Israelites, and did many other ungodly acts, Prophet Elijah under God’s inspiration decreed that there would be no rain in Israel for three years, and it was so.

The Bible presents it thus in 1Kings 17:1, “And Elijah the Tishbite, who was of the inhabitants of Gilead, said unto Ahab, As the Lord God of Israel liveth, before whom I stand, there shall not be dew nor rain these years, but according to my word.” No man on his own can make such a declaration of stopping rainfall, and it would come to pass, so but Elijah under God’s powerful influence made it to be so. When men of God speak, they do not make declaration on their own accord, but by divine inspiration and direction.

Similarly, Elijah’s servant, Elisha was squatting with some sons of the prophets. The house was in bad condition and needed repairs. They requested Prophet Elisha to follow them to the Jordan to cut some beams for the repair of the house. They went. One of them was felling a beam, then the axe head fell into the river. He cried out to Elisha saying it was a borrowed axe. Then Prophet Elisha replied thus in 2 Kings 6:5-7 saying, “But as one was felling a beam, the axe head fell into the water: and he cried, and said, Alas, master! For it was borrowed. 6 And the man of God said, Where fell it? And he shewed him the place. And he cut down a stick, and cast it in thither; and the iron did swim. 7 Therefore said he, Take it up to thee. And he put out his hand, and took it.”

An axe head is indeed a heavy iron. If it falls into a river it will go down to the bottom of the water. The water has nothing to do to bring it up to the surface. It was only by divine intervention that Prophet Elisha used a stick to make it flow, and eventually be brought up. Without the power of God, recovering the axe head would have been clearly an effort in futility. If God did not intervene, the man’s cry would have been in vain.

Again when there was a devastating famine occasioned, by the invasion of the Syrian Army against Samaria to the extent that people were eating their children, Prophet Elisha under the inspiration of God predicted abundant food in such a manner that a measure of fine flour would sale for a shekel of silver at the gate of Samaria. It happened thus in 2Kings 7:1 the Bible says, “Then Elisha said, Hear ye the word of the Lord; Thus saith the Lord, Tomorrow about this time shall a measure of fine flour be sold for a shekel, and two measures of barley for a shekel, in the gate of Samaria.”

This statement sounded strange in a country where famine caused people resort to eating their children but it came to pass because God led a prophet to make this statement.

In the same 2 Kings 7:3-9, And there were four leprous men at the entering in of the gate: and they said one to another, Why sit we here until we die? 4 If we say, We will enter into the city, then the famine is in the city, and we shall die there: and if we sit still here, we die also. Now therefore come, and let us fall unto the host of the Syrians: if they save us alive, we shall live; and if they kill us, we shall but die. 5 And they rose up in the twilight, to go unto the camp of the Syrians: and when they were come to the uttermost part of the camp of Syria, behold, there was no man there. 6 For the Lord had made the host of the Syrians to hear a noise of chariots, and a noise of horses, even the noise of a great host: and they said one to another, Lo, the king of Israel hath hired against us the kings of the Hittites, and the kings of the Egyptians, to come upon us. 7 Wherefore they arose and fled in the twilight, and left their tents, and their horses, and their asses, even the camp as it was, and fled for their life.8 And when these lepers came to the uttermost part of the camp, they went into one tent, and did eat and drink, and carried thence silver, and gold, and raiment, and went and hid it; and came again, and entered into another tent, and carried thence also, and went and hid it. 9 Then they said one to another, We do not well: this day is a day of good tidings, and we hold our peace: if we tarry till the morning light, some mischief will come upon us: now therefore come, that we may go and tell the king’s household.”

It is only God that has the ability to magnify the foot- steps of lepers to sound as noise of chariots, horses of great army putting confusion in the Syrian camp forcing them to flee the camp hastily. The lepers were surprised to meet the camp empty. They ate and drank to their fill, hid some, and went and informed the king. When the people came and gathered the spoil that forced the price of food items down. The Bible says thus in 2 Kings 7:15-16, “And they went after them unto Jordan: and, lo, all the way was full of garments and vessels, which the Syrians had cast away in their haste. And the messengers returned, and told the king. 16 And the people went out, and spoiled the tents of the Syrians. So a measure of fine flour was sold for a shekel, and two measures of barley for a shekel, according to the word of the Lord.”

As the man of God predicted, it came to pass, any word that comes out from the mouth of a servant of God comes to pass. God honours the word of his servants, and the people that serve him. If there is anything that gives you sleepless nights, report it to God in prayer, He will do it for you if you faithfully trust in Him. Whenever a problem confronts you, put God’s name at stake by calling on him for intervention, He will bring it to pass as nothing is impossible with God.

God Taught Me How To Handle Building Projects
MY name is Brother Ruben Abugu. I am from Enugu State. I appreciate God for making me a member of the Christ’s Chosen Church of God International. I joined with a lot of problems and afflictions, including poverty and sickness. In fact, I can’t mention them all, before I joined Chosen, I was into diabolical powers, including making charms for protection, but all to no avail, and those things turned against me and began to trouble me. One native doctor told me to go and look for a church that I would attend, and that if I didn’t do that, I would not live to see my children. He added that no man born of a woman would cure my sickness, except God. I told him thank you sir, and I immediately left for home. Then I called my elder sister and told her that I wanted to join a church and she brought me to The Lord’s Chosen Church, Three months after I joined, there was a programme in Port Harcourt, entitled “Arrival of The Master.” It was at this meeting that the master arrived in my life. The sickness that I had disappeared and those people that refused to pick my calls began to call me during that crusade. There, I told God to grant me a job, then as I came back from that crusade, I was made a branch manager at an MTN site. The job was accompanied with a brand new motorcycle. Going to that crusade brought about a turning point in my life because God began to work mysteries in my life. My General Pastor appeared to me in a dream and showed me a building plan and I said, ‘Daddy, what is this all about? He said that I should go and do the work and I said, ‘Haa, I no go school, I don’t know this one.’ He said, ‘Ok, come let me show you something. He showed me something, and then disappeared. Three days later, somebody came to me and showed me a building plan, and said I want you to do this work for me. My heart skipped because I didn’t know where to start, then I remembered the dream because when the General Pastor showed me the thing I wrote it down and after I checked it I gave the man four days to start the work. Before the four days elapsed, I was moved to start the work quickly. So, when I got to the site, I prayed over it and I started the work and I finished it, and another person brought his own from China. Now, I have done a two-storey building, a three-storey building, and many others. I don’t know how to say it, but some people say that I’ve done it better than the people that went to school to study it. When some of those that studied the profession in school have problems, they will call me on phone and tell me the problem I will in turn advise them on what to do to solve the problem. It is usually a great surprise to engineers that after their work, I will come and correct their mistakes. Today, most of them are my friends. To God be the glory.

When I joined Chosen, I was nothing but today I have built my own mansion. Praise the Lord.

Last February, I wanted to buy a car, but the devil saw that another good thing was about to enter my family, then he set up an auto accident for me, but God delivered me from the manipulation of the enemy. Two days later, I went and bought a Siena car that I am using now, seeing the blessing of God upon my life, people are saying that I am into Yahoo-Yahoo; that I am into charm making, etc, but I do not mind them because I know that the God of Chosen is my anchor. By the grace of God the people that called me a useless man, today recognise me in my community. If they are doing anything and they don’t see me, they will not go ahead with it, but wait for me to arrive. I want to thank this God that made me what I am today. Praise the Lord!

At this juncture, I want to advice the newcomers that when I came here, I was a nobody, but I stuck to this God of Chosen and remained unshaken. Today, God has blessed me. That God that blessed me will bless you as well in Jesus name. If somebody that has not gone to the university to study civil engineering is handling building projects, even better than the professionals, what about you? He will also do it in your life if you diligently and patiently wait for Him. The God of Chosen is so great. I pray for my G.O and all the Chosen worldwide to make heaven at last in Jesus name,
