In defence Of Daddy G.O’s ‘Prayer Points’
Recently, the internet was literally blown out of the skies when a video of a Daddy G.O’s (name withheld) prayers emerged. The popular pastor, head of a large congregation of Pentecostal Christians, was working up his members in the video with what many Social Media users (T4T not included) termed an ‘unpleasant’ prayer.

“By this time next year, your colleagues will be coming to you for food. They will be coming to you for refreshments. I decree that you will be the go to person in your family, in Jesus name! There are families where there is that person everybody goes to for everything; you will be that person…”
And the large crowd screamed “Amen” to the above prayer!

Well, many people did not find the Daddy G.O’s prayer funny, and trust this generation of “Nor Gree for anybody dis year”; they tore into the video on X (formerly twitter), Facebook and even Instagram. The heat was too much, the church had to delete it, after some feeble attempts to explain it away… make everybody kuku rest

T4T, like thousands of other Nigerians, already had the video glued to their devices, and since then, T4T has been zooming in on the faces of those in the crowd who screamed “Amen” to the prayer to see if there was a close family relative or friend among the crowd. Before you ask what T4T would do if he finds a family member or friend in that video with his mouth shaped in the form of saying “amen”? This is what he will do.

T4T will immediately severe any form of filial or social relationships with that person and going forward, he will not be in any place 100 metres from him or her. Why? That person is an evil person and does not wish his neighbour or friend or relative well.

Now, let us further interrogate Daddy G.O’s controversial prayer. All the people in the congregation that day will have their colleagues coming to them to beg for food by January 2025, and the crowd in that video would number up to a million. So, if God truly grants Daddy G.O’s prayer for his flocks, we will have over a million Nigerians who hitherto were gainfully employed, going to their colleagues to beg for food in January 2025!
Wow!

That was extremely gracious of Daddy G.O. And when a breadwinner of a family begins to beg for food, what happens to the mouths he had been feeding? So, conservatively, we will have over 10 million Nigerians all begging for food next year’s January courtesy of our able Daddy G.O’s prayer! Isn’t that so sweet?

The second part of the prayer said all the people that said “amen” to that prayer would be the “go to person” in their family. That is, they will be the ONLY men or women of means, that all other family members would come to even if they wanted to buy a chewing stick! A Babalawo that many people have demonised, will not curse an enemy that much. Haba!

This is the problem T4T has with Pentecostalism. The sensationalism to ensure that worshippers are permanently hooked; is way too much.

The only consolation here is that our dear Daddy G.O is not God, if not; so many Nigerians would be in trouble by January, 2025. To God be the glory!

And D1’s Not Finding It Funny In America
Even though popular TV personality, Dayo Adeneye aka D1 is not in Nigeria at the moment where he may be at risk of begging his colleagues for food by January next year, courtesy of Daddy G.O’s prayer, he is still not finding things funny in America where he is at, well, maybe temporary.

D1 who became popular when he paired with Kenny Ogungbe(Keke) to pioneer a TV music show about two decades ago, took to his Facebook Timeline to lament the high cost of living in the United States, recently.

With a picture of him and the items he bought in a departmental store, D1 wrote:
“10 items for $90…N90,000 and I never even buy gas (fuel). Omoh, this abroad is not abroading at all ohh. Time to head for Naija abi? One day, e go better sha.
