Vodacom, Sidmach shine at BoICT awards

Vodacom Business Nigeria and Sidmach Technologies scooped several awards at the weekend in Lagos, at the 2016 edition of Beacon of Information and Communication Technology (BoICT) awards organized by Nigeria CommunicationsWeek, a technology publication.

Sidmach Technologies was presented with two awards, Indigenous Software Company of the Year and ICT Innovator of the Year, while Vodacom Business Nigeria also walked away with two awards, which were the Enterprise Solution Provider of the Year, an award the company won in 2013, 2014 and 2016 and Cloud Service Provider of the Year, another award the company has won for three years, back-to-back since 2014.

The over one million readers of Nigeria CommunicationsWeek voted in the different categories with Vodacom Business Nigeria emerging as the clear winner in Enterprise Solutions Provider of the Year and Cloud Services Provider of the Year categories.

Receiving the award for Vodacom, the company’s Managing Director, Lanre Kolade, said: “We are extremely proud and honored to receive these excellent awards that recognize our leadership in total communication solutions and cloud services.
