The telecoms operator outperformed other telecoms companies by recording the highest growth rate of 5.86 per cent at the end of the second quarter.

A report of the NCC also showed that Globacom acquired 1 million new internet subscribers in April translating to 67.98 percent of new subscribers in April 2015.

The report also revealed that MTN lost 384,487 Internet subscribers within the period while Airtel recorded 669,518 and Etisalat had 231,661 new internet subscribers in April.
