A smartcard and information company, Electronic Payplus Limited has been awarded certification of Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) by Infoprive Services Limited.

Presenting the certificate to Electronic Payplus, Managing consultant of Infoprive limited, Adetokunbo Omotosho, said the certification is a reward for EPayplus’s effort to fill major gaps in technology industry since operation in 2004.

He said  “Pay plus is a topnotch company which is committed to security and this shows the company thinks ahead with this I am impressed and assured of their strategies”.

Responding, the Chief Executive Officer of Electronic Payplus, Bayo Adedokun, said the certificate would spur Electronic Payplus to improve the security and confidentiality of smart card users in Nigeria.

“Our research some years ago have proved us the best so far in terms of security and with PSI DSS certificate we have been found worthy of rendering more solution and services to the nation at large and we want to improve on this.”

He stated that the electronic company will put in better strategies and measures to advance the safekeeping and discretion of card holder’s information in Nigeria in compliance to global standards.

Adedokun further stated that the company will be working alongside Federal Government and Lagos state government using technology to ease cash transaction challenges in the country.
