Cheki unveils premium services

In a bid to ensure that dealers of its online platform get satisfaction for their services, Cheki.com.ng has introduced premium services to address the needs of dealers in the Nigerian automobile industry.

Indeed, the online car mart partnered with a United States online car store, Manhiam to help indigenous dealers purchase cars with ease, while ensuring that its upgraded website creates ease of usage for existing dealers.

Speaking at the Cheki dealers forum held at the Sheba Centre, Ikeja, Lagos recently, the General Manager, Tomi Hodonu noted the forum is to ensure they keep in touch with dealers. “We don’t want to think we are doing a good job and the dealers are not happy with our services.

So here we bring those who work behind the scene for dealers to get clarifications from any question bordering on their business”, she added.

She also noted that the firm’s partnership with Manhiam will ensure that some of the issues car dealers face in Nigeria, including government policies and economic issues will be managed, adding that “as a pan African brand, we will ensure that dealers get value for the services we render as well as increase their profit margin. We are building a bond with dealers”.

A representative from Cheki Manhian from Ghana, Kobi Asanoah while speaking on some of the challenges faced with partnership opportunities in the Nigerian automobile industry noted that getting access to finance has a huge effect on car dealing as there is limitation to access case from the banks.

There is also competition because there are people who are not car dealers who venture into selling cars too, while demographic problems can hinder growth in dealing with cars coupled with the huge risk involved in the business”, Asanoah said.
