EDDY UWOGHIREN, The Guardian Newspaper campus reporter at the University of Benin (UNIBEN), has been appointed a Global Youth Ambassador by the Youth for Enlightenment and Welfare (YEW), an advocacy youth organisation established in 15 countries across the globe.

The congratulatory email sent to him by the International President of the movement, Shahzor Memon, read in part: “I congratulate you on becoming one of our ambassadors. We are marveled at how far you have contributed to the development of your immediate environment through campaigns on health matters ranging from blood donation drive, health awareness campaign, volunteering for free medical outreaches to rural dwellers in Nigeria, freelance journalism and others. We strongly encourage you to keep the good work and help spread the message of YEW in your country.”
