The Pater’s Heritage Mission, a faith-based non-governmental and non-denominational organization that comprises of The Rose of Sharon, Spirit and Truth, The Rose of Sharon Kiddies, and Naphtali eperience use their talents to create change through drama, music, dance and the print media and also create change in the hearts of men and in doing so, creating change in our world.

According to the president of the organisation Ben Chiadika, who is also a director on the popular television programme Tinsel said, “our vision of manifesting God’s love is dedicated to reaching out to the uttermost parts of the earth, creating a positive and lasting change in the society. Our primary mission is to take the Word of God, package it in dance, poetry, prose, music and drama; revealing it via various media to our world.”

Over the years, the organisation has been able to raise and train a group of talented artistes with a passion for Jesus and a knack for artistic excellence. We are currently on a monthly drama, dance and music project. It comes fully packed with what we know will be an impactful experience; a demonstration of excellence in creativity such as we have been blessed with over the years.

It’s open to all and admission is free; not because it is mediocre but because it is our conviction to bring to everyone clean quality entertainment at least once a month.

The maiden edition holds today at Blue Nest Hotel, 9, Osolo Way, 7/8 Bus stop, off International Airport Road, where a fusion of music, poetry, dance and drama will be presented.  The dance is captioned Redemption while the drama piece is titled Ona.

Ona tells the story of a man who walks away from all that has ever made sense to him. Torn apart by his personal pains, he allows anger to consume him, steps into the personal space of a mad man and together they rock each other’s world; pursued by strange passions, murder fills the air, tales of terror and violence, intertwined in a love story.

The play was written and directed by Ben Chiadika.
