Timi David Ministries hold couples’ Get-together

Timi David Ministries will, today, hold its Couples’ Get-together, an interdenominational Christian programme at The Real Place 3, Afisman Drive, off Akinremi Street, Anifowose, Ikeja, Lagos, from 1:00pm to 6pm. The event, which is meant for married and mature singles, would be attended by such facilitators as the Executive Director, CFM Global Express Ltd., Abiodun Ogundare; Managing Director, Prothrive Astute Heights Ltd, Yemisi Obe; Lanre Briggs of BDM Funbell Diagnostics, as well as the Managing Director, Sheltarchsng Ltd., Moses Alade, while gospel artiste, Igwe Kenny, is expected to thrill the audience.

Narrating how the idea was conceived, Timi David said: “This initiative was birthed during the celebration of our 12th wedding anniversary. There was something special about our 12 years of being together. I felt very strongly that it was our apostolic era. So, we invited some of our friends for couples’ get-together and during the luncheon, we talked about love in marriage, played couples game, and had couples heart-to-heart discussions. Few months after, the Lord told me to organise “Couples’ get-together” for married and mature singles, in line with the pattern of the just-concluded wedding anniversary.”

According to him, since that encounter, the ministry has been holding the programme for three years now. “The first one held in 2015, while the second was in 2016 and the third event, which promises to be great holds today. Lives have been transformed, families have been saved from collapse and singles are getting directions for their lives,” he explained.
