Perhaps the darkness that is making you confused, are not the events of the end but the problems that are biting hard on you. Is it other difficulties such as barrenness, impoverishment, joblessness, crisis at home or health challenges? Arise from your despondency and look unto Jesus Christ, Who is greater and mightier than your problems.

I want to announce to you through this medium, that your light has come, but it takes your rising from that confused state for your light to function.

Don’t see your problem as anything too big or as something peculiar to you. Stop magnifying your problem, which is not as powerful as you think.

From this moment, start seeing your problem as a common and not special one. The Bible states that “no temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation, will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it” – I Corinthians 10:13.

If you are able to ‘commonise’ your problem and able to see the challenges confronting your life as no big issue, you have already diminished it.

God’s light and glory are hanging all around you, but for them to manifest, you need to rise from all forms of confusion. How do you do this? Through the knowledge, understanding and right application of the word of God.

The Psalmist says, “I have hidden your word in my heart that I might not sin against you. Blessed are you, O Lord; teach me your principles. I have recited aloud all the laws you have given us.

I have rejoiced in your decrees as much as in riches. I will study your commandments and reflect on your ways I will delight in your principles and not forget your word”-Psalm 119:11-16.

Note that you are in utter darkness, if you are yet to establish a personal relationship with Christ and for you to come out of this darkness; you need to believe and confess Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior.

Entrust your Life in God’s Hand because He can be trusted. However, God’s word clearly states that He is our Maker. He made us in His likeness. “God created man in His own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female He created them Genesis 1:27.

This obviously means that God knows us inside out, which places a demand on us to lean on Him for our needs and bring our troubles to Him.

Unfortunately, lots of people in the world today rely on fellow human beings or other created things in solving their problems, while some depend solely on their personal efforts leaving out God in their endeavours. “This is what the Lord says: “Curse is the one who trust in man, who depends on flesh for his strength and whose hearts turns away from the Lord.

He will be like a bush in the wasteland; he will not see prosperity when it comes. He will dwell in the parched places of the desert, in a salt land where no one lives” – Jeremiah 17:5-6. What’s more? It means trusting in anything other than God, will eventually bring disappointment. God bless. skabiaraofciem@yahoo.co.uk
