Brethren, we have come to the point where the Lord of Host has taken over the circumstances of the affairs of this country. At this point, we should no longer struggle to get what we need, but the Lord of Host has taken over with a drawn sword to ensure no harm befalls us. And to let you know that He has taken over, He has brought down the thick cloud of tension on the horizon of the country. And as long as He has taken over, I want to let you know that henceforth, things will become easy. What appeared to be impossible will now become possible. The country will experience peace during and after the electioneering period.

And if we believe that He is now in-charge, we ought not to be afraid of anything that may happen again, for He is working to bring His counsel to prevail in all circumstances, for His counsel that shall stand.

Jn 5:17 says, “But Jesus answered them, My Father worketh hitherto, and I work.”

God is every day working, upholding and governing all the creatures, and by His common providence, making them to concur to all the motions and operations of nature. Since the creation of the world, God has not retired from work to ensure His people are saved. He has never ceased from preserving and governing that which He has formed. Nothing can exist without the continual energy of God.

As God created all things by Christ, so He supports and governs all by Him. As He works, Jesus also works in us. He that is so great a worker is the Lord of all. So He works constantly, continuously, persistently and relentlessly governing and supporting all things, comforting the wretched, defending and advancing His chosen ones, saving the lost and ensuring that nothing befalls His people even at this political dispensation.

Who is working? God is He that is working. He has taken over the affairs of your life and the country. He has started a work that will make His people to rejoice just as He did in the days of the Bible.

Josh. 5; 13-15 says, “And it came to pass, when Joshua was by Jericho, that he lifted up his eyes and looked, and, behold, there stood a man over against him with his sword drawn in his hand: and Joshua went unto him, and said unto him, Art thou for us, or for our adversaries? 14 And he said, Nay; but as captain of the host of the LORD am I now come. And Joshua fell on his face to the earth, and did worship, and said unto him, What saith my Lord unto his servant? 15 And the captain of the LORD’s host said unto Joshua, Loose thy shoe from off thy foot; for the place whereon thou standest is holy. And Joshua did so.”

To Abraham, God appeared as a traveller and to Joshua as a Man of war. The Lord appears to His people what their faith needs. He drew His sword, which encouraged Joshua to carry on the war with vigour. The Lord’s sword drawn in His hand denotes how ready He is for the defence and salvation of His people. His sword turns every way looking for enemies of His people.

As He takes over, our deliverance is assured. Those that make void His law, saying, who is the Lord? What is the Almighty, that we should fear him? God is set to confront them. Of course, man’s extremity, whether of need or sin, is God’s opportunity for intervention. If He sent His Spirit to move upon the face of the waters, should He not come when society is returning to chaotic state and His people persecuted? When the people of the world begin to extremely oppress the Children of God, then the righteous will expect to see the Hand of the Lord stretched out for the revival of their faith, defending the truth, and glorifying His divine name. Beloved, God has come to take over.
