Any house divided against itself can never stand. This was the word of Presiding Minister of Genesis International, Ilaro, Ogun State, Evangelist Ekunola Davies, who listed disunity and animosity as reasons for crisis in the country.

He said this at a special programme held at Prayer Mountain, Ilaro, Ogun State called “Unending Laughter.” He said the nation has continually witnessed inadequacies, as a result of leaders and citizens’ inability to imbibe the Biblical teachings of the 10 Commandments, such as love for God and humanity.

He noted that people have failed to serve God faithfully and as such, they have also failed to be their brother’s keeper, which is the reason for crisis in the land. “Ignorance of God’s Word, as enshrined in the scriptures and the failure of some churches to bring this to their members’ knowledge, has allowed the people’s economic need to override their moral and spiritual teachings,” he said.

Commenting on the security in the country, the convener of the yearly “Genesis International Crusade” advised the Federal Government to intensify efforts on curbing the crisis occasioned by killer herdsmen, kidnapping, raping, robbery and such vices in the land.

The Federal Government, he said, should be proactive in order to protect any place prone to attack. He described Unending Laughter 2018, as a place where the faithful are expected to wait upon the Lord in prayers. He encouraged Nigerians to wait upon the Lord, saying at the right time He would fulfill His promises.
