Blessed are the pure in heart – Part 3

If you are after a pure heart, then dwell in the word because the word of God is pure. It is the only pure thing in the world. “The words of the Lord are pure words as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times.” Psalms 12:6 “Wherewithal shall a young man cleanse his ways? By taking heed thereto according to thy word. With my whole heart have I sought thee, O let me not…sin against thee” Psalms 119:9-11

When you take the pains to hide the Word of God in your heart, it will hide you from the power of iniquity. Your mindset is very important. All the issues of life, including all the issues of immorality are settled in the heart. “Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.” Proverbs 4:23

When God tells us to keep our heart DILIGENTLY, He also tells us how in the preceding verses, “My sons, ATTEND to my words; incline their ear unto my saying (i.e. listen to messages constantly). Let them not depart from thine eye (reading of God’s word and good Christian literatures); keep them in the midst of thine heart. For they are life unto those that find them.” Proverbs 4:20-22 (Emphases mine).

Life abhors a vacuum. If you don’t spend time downloading God’s Word into your spirit, whether by iPod, iPad, CD, DVD, books, etc., something will soon take its place.

“I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world (Don’t sit down all day watching soap dramas, sitcoms and sexually provocative films). Be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind….” Romans 12:1-2 (Emphases mine). “Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever thing are honest, whatsoever things are just, WHATSOEVER THING ARE PURE…THINK ON THESE THINGS.” Philippians 4:8. Purity of heart is not by prayer alone. It is by the renewal of your mind that takes a deliberate action and commitment. However, prayer is also important. “FOR THE COMMANDMENT IS A LAMP; AND THE LAW IS LIGHT…TO KEEP YOU FROM THE IMMORAL.” Proverbs 6:23, 24 WEB

Without purity, you are doomed. Christ cannot have you as His Bride, if you are not a spiritual virgin: born again and totally recreated. Some so-called born again Christians have not been recreated at all. They still live the old life of sin and cover up with Christian jargons. That is why if you are still a virgin, whether you are a male or female, keep it proudly. “These are they which are not defiled with women; for they are virgins. These are they which follow the lamb whithersoever he goeth. These were redeemed from among men.” Revelation 14:4.

All truly regenerated born again believers are regarded as virgins, because the true born again experience is baptism and initiation into a life of purity and total distance from sexual defilement. The Bride of Christ is not the Church. The present day Church will be left behind to go through tribulation with the anti-Christ. But the Bride shall be taken out. The brides are the peculiar separated ones that are inside the Church. All these sexual immoral believers inside the church shall be left behind, when the Rapture occurs. Are you still defiling yourself and yet occupy a position in the Church? Repent now before it is too late. Without purity, you are domed. Life has no duplicate.

Others that went before you overcame. Others that are running this race presently alongside you are equally overcoming. Others that shall come after you shall also overcome. Heaven shall be the gathering of the many multitudes of both men and women that maintained their integrity and the glory of purity. If others can overcome, you too can. Indeed, you must. If you choose God’s way of purity, you will know the true value of life, and you will know the saving, keeping power of God. You gain, gain and gain by going God’s way. What do you gain?

1. Freedom from judgment. 2. No wound or dishonour. 3. No pregnancy or child out of wedlock. 4. No venereal disease. 5. No disloyalty to your spouse or children. 6. Supernatural boldness. 7. The life and power of God flowing in you constantly. 8. A good entrance into everlasting/eternal life. 9. Plus 101 other things. It is the way countless millions have also chosen to live. It is a lifestyle you also can choose. God bless you.
