THE authorities of the Federal University of Technology, Owerri (FUTO), have introduced two Schools of Sciences. The schools are Biological and Physical Sciences. The Vice Chancellor of the school, Prof. Chigizie Asiabaka, disclosed this at the unveiling of the school’s ultra modern Students’ Resource Centre for the Students’ Union Government (SUG).

The VC, who also inaugurated an11-man newly elected 17th students executive of the union led by Ezenwa Obinna Emmanuel as president, disclosed that to ensure adequate security in the school, Hall Wardens would be reintroduced and posted to different halls for students safety.

Commending the immediate past students’ executive of the SUG led by Onochie David Edozie, for building the centre, Asiabaka warned the new students’ executive against extorting fellow students to enrich themselves.
