Some of the audience aired their views after the event. “It was very interesting. I didn’t just enjoy the music, that was the main thing, but it was massive. In case of next time the programme comes up, I will attend, because I heard great words from great people,” Anu Adedire, 100 level, Faculty of Law.
“The programme was a wonderful one, and being organized by someone I know very well. Actually, the turnout was not encouraging despite the cheap gate fee, but at the same time was wonderful. It is commendable in that it is a way of promoting the name of the institution,” Lekan Awujoola, a 400-level student, department of Library, Archival and Information Studies, stressed.
Olamide, the brain behind the event, recounted his ordeal and challenges: “I faced a lot of challenges. Despite the challenges, I didn’t give up. Honestly, each award cost N10,000, and we produced 25 awards.”
