U.S.-based Banks leads others to Mr. Flex Nigeria championship

USA-based Nigerian athlete, Gerald Banks and TY Ogedegbe, the 2013/2014 Musclemania World Champion, who is coming from Europe, are among the notable strongmen coning for this year’s

Mr. Flex Nigeria Season 5 Bodybuilding championship billed for November 14 in Lagos.

According to the organisers of the championship, about 50 foreign and local-based athletes, including former ‘Mr California, Bada Lekan, current NPC bodybuilding Champion, Femi Adesoye, veteran Bodybuilder, Abdul Rasak, who currently occupies the number six position in Africa and Mr. Flex Nigeria 2014 second runner up, Saheed Lawal, will feature in the championship.

Expected to lead participants to the female category, tagged Miss Flex Nigeria Figure (second edition), the organisers said, are the country’s 20th Commonwealth Games heroine in the 63kg Weightlifting, Oluwatoyin Adesanya, who has also forayed into bodybuilding, and the current female Bodybuilding champion in Nigeria, Gloria Moses.
