Topaz house wins Covenant Baptist School Sports meet

With a rare display of talent, pupils of Topaz House (Yellow House) defied all odds to win the fifth edition of Inter House Sports Competition of Covenant Baptist Children Nursery and Primary School, Ijaiye-Agege in Lagos State.

The House won 11 gold, nine silver and two bronze medals in the championship held at the school’s playground at the weekend.

Emerald House (Green House) came second with five gold, five silver and nine bronze medals. In the third position was Carnelian House (Red), which won five gold, four silver and 10 bronze medals, while Sapphire House (Blue) came fourth with four gold, five silver and seven bronze medals.

Speaking at the event, the Proprietor of the school, Rev. Emmanuel Iyanda, who was represented by Deaconess Shade Adegbite, commended the spirit of sportsmanship in the pupils.
