O’Trafford holds Sallah squash competitions
Rumbles and other mini tournaments in honour of members, who have achieved laudable feats in recent times accompanied with what chairman, Larry Ettah, described as “quality socials” will be on the cards as the game serves off on the centre court.
The first contest, which will hold today, is in honour of chairman, HS Media Group, Taye Ige, who is also the club’s director of publicity. It would be followed tomorrow by a competition dedicated to the CEO, Cargolux Merchant Express, Captain Shina Akinfenwa, who sponsors of the largest and longest running Cargolux Squash Invitational.
Also holding tomorrow is a competition for invited teenage female players, while the annual Babatunde Lawal Sallah get-together comes up on Saturday.
Speaking on the events, Club Captain, Adebiyi Mabadeje, urged members to make it a family affair by bringing their wives and children to event.
