Latinwo to oversee new Ikeja Golf Club management committee

With the completion of the 2016/17 golf calendar, members of Ikeja Golf Club have elected a new management committee to oversee the affairs of the club over the next 12 months.

Top on the list of the new clubs management committee is Niyi Latinwo, who will serve as captain for the next 12 months. He would be assisted by Bola Temowo, who is the club’s Vice Captain, while Jolomi Ideh is Competition Secretary.

The clubs new Honorary Secretary is Akintoye Akeem; the club’s Treasurer is Charles Ojo; Membership Secretary Taiwo Joda; the Course Officer is Annieodiong Akai while the club’s Caddy Officer is Femi Soyombo.

Other members of the committee are Bar and Kitchen Kunle Dada; House Officer and AIG, Taiwo Adewole; and Handicap Secretary, Chris Ola (rtd). While promising his member a great year ahead, the new captain said he is ready to work with every member of the club and the corporate world in order to attract tournament and sponsorship to the club.

“We have a very good committee that is committed to serving members of the club and we are going to work in together take Ikeja Golf Club to greater height. We will work very hard in the interest of all our members, especially in the areas of sponsorship and tournament,” the new captain said.
