To connect the people of Sagamu, Ogun State to the rest of the world on Saturday when Nigerian-born Anthony Joshua defends his WBA and IBF heavyweight title against Camerounian-born French boxer, Carlos Takam, KweseTv is set to invade the town for a live broadcast of the fight.

The much-anticipated bout is billed for Saturday in Cardiff, Wales, and Kwese Tv would showcase the home town of Joshua and her indigenes to the world while also simultaneously beaming live the fight in England.

The General Manager, Kwese Free Sports Nigeria, Chichi Nwoko told The Guardian that Kwese Tv would put in place a spectacular carnival-like show to celebrate the fight and to commemorate Sagamu Day.

“We will bring the Anthony Joshua fight from his ancestral home in Sagamu for boxing fans around the world. We have always been part of Joshua’s success story, as we also brought the epoch fight between him and Wladimir Kilischko in April. We intend to beam live from Sagamu reactions of fans during the fight till midnight,” Nwoko stated.

Takam became a replacement for Kubrat Pulev as the challenger to Joshua in the October 28 world heavyweight bout after a shoulder injury.
