Aina can’t wait to face England’s Three Lions
Chelsea defender, Ola Aina believes the Super Eagles have a great squad despite several young players in their ranks, including Wilfred Ndidi, Kelechi Iheanacho and Alex Iwobi.
The versatile fullback has echoed the statements of Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) President, Amaju Pinnick, saying that this young team will take the world by storm in the coming years.
“If you look at the team right now it is exciting, we have the balance of older senior players and obviously young ones like myself,’’ Ola Aina told ExtraTimeSoccerLive.
“There are young ones but the young ones are very experienced as well like Ndidi, it is exciting to play with these players.
“They have good experience, good quality and hopefully in the years to come we can take Nigeria further up.”
Nigeria will face England in their penultimate pre-World Cup friendly on June 2, and Aina, a former England U19 skipper, is understandably looking forward to the clash at Wembley.
