Fashion Focus: The Street Game of The 2015 Heineken LFDW

IT was four days of glamour and beauty as different fashion designers, fashion insiders, buyers, retailers, celebrities, models, collectors, local and international journalists, fashion lovers and a host of others lighted the city of Lagos up for the annual Lagos Fashion and Design Week. This edition, which is in its fifth year, was tagged ‘The Celebratory Issue’.

From the runway to the red carpets to the street styles, everyone brought their ‘A game’ and came to definitely make an impression, either positively or otherwise. From the girly girls in pretty print dresses and floral fits, to those who dared to walk the thin line between fab and drab, some left us super impressed while others left us with an ‘Oh my God’.

The street styles were definitely edgy, daring and not your usual everyday look, but that is precisely what we love about fashion. Sneakers, fringe clothes and wild hair dos were recurrent motifs and characterized the whole laid back theme of the typical street style.
