Ogun born fast rising actor, Olushola Micheals whose love for acting is second to none has hinted that he is ready to storm the industry with lots of creative ideas and further contribute his own quota to the already growing industry.

Speaking on concerned issues, Olushola disclosed that unlike the English actors who rake most of the fat endorsement deals and accolades; it’s not same with the Yoruba actors who are not well recognized in the industry as top priorities are usually given to the English counterparts.

‘I want to call out on co-operate organization and top government agencies to treat all actors equally irrespective of the language their movie production is based’ he said.

On why most upcoming actors finds it difficult to grow, Olushola reiterate that the industry is biased at some point when as an upcoming act you want to feature the big names in your movie, instead of been told they can’t work with you because your new; they scare you away with huge charges leaving you to shoot with your fellow upcoming stars. Now, if your project is full of upcoming and maybe one or two known faces, the price you will get from marketers, online store as well as TV stations will be little or nothing, which won’t even be up to the price of producing the movie in the first place.

On his plans for the year, Olushola disclosed that he will be shooting series of movies and working with top movie directors that include Afeez Owoh, Lancelot Imasuen and Desmond Elliot. From his stable, two movies are expected to be shot in the month of August

Currently Olushola is a film student at the Seriki Olopolo Movie Academy owned by prolific filmmaker, Afeez Owoh and has featured in a couple of movies that includes Moromo, My Husband, My Enemy, Retribution amongst others
