Why YBNL Can’t Sign Female Artiste — Olamide
YBNL chief, Olamide popularly known as Baddo, has revealed reason the label has not signed a female artiste. He noted that the record label has five artistes including rappers, Lil Kesh, Viktor, Xino Kuti, Chinko Ekun, and urban highlife singer, Adekunle Gold.
Olamide, who recently dropped his fifth studio album titled, Eyan Mayweather, in an interview with music channel, Hip TV, explained the label is yet to sign any female artistes to their ‘short industry life span’. He, however, revealed that if he is going to sign a female artiste, she’d have to engulf herself with the hunger he has…“hunger for success”, he said.
According to industry observers, with Lil Kesh and Adekunle Gold already making a strong stand in the music industry, the rapper has shut down the chance of having a female artiste in the label.
