WITH the postponement of Nigeria’s presidential election originally scheduled for February 14, the annual O’jez Valentine Party earlier scheduled for Sunday, February 15 has been moved back to its original Valentine Day, February 14.

“Our yearly O’jez Valentine Party will now hold on Saturday, February 14, its traditional date at our National Stadium, Surulere-Lagos outlet,” celebrity restaurant’s C.E.O Chief Joseph Odobeatu said in a statement signed by his media Company, MIM.

With a lot of crazy and entertaining acts on the bill this year, Odobeatu is optimistic that this year’s O’jez Valentine Party will turn out to be “an unforgettable Valentine for fun seekers and lovers. We are glad that our funny in house comedian, Elder O is back, he is teaming up with one of the craziest young comedians in Nigeria that stood in for him during his two months absence, MC Prymzo, to push audience members to the limits. Crazy Legs, David Crusaders, O’jez Band among many others are on the bill this year.”

Also, celebrities who have confirmed attendance with their families are Nollywood actors Leo Mezie, Ejike Asiegbu, Bimbo Manuel, Zach Orji and Charles Inojie and singers ArtQuake and others.

“O’jez is home to Nigerian music and movie stars, so during festive seasons like this, we fete them as a mark of honour and appreciation for their patronage. This gives some of our patrons an opportunity to relate with them up close and personal. That is what will happen on Saturday,” Odobeatu said.

Aside the usual Friday and Sunday night music and comedy sessions at O’jez as well as the monthly O’jez Entertainment Award given to deserving Nigerians in all fields of human endeavour, the chain of celebrity restaurants owner said, “we also ensure that we hold five major shows for our customers in a year and they are; the O’jez Valentine Party, O’jez Easter Fiesta, O’jez Democracy Jam which holds every Democracy Day (May 29), O’jez Independence Party and finally the O’jez Xmas Blast. These are major shows people pay thousands of naira to go and watch elsewhere but at O’jez, it is complimentary to the rich Chinese, Nigerian and continental dishes plus exotic wines and drinks we serve our customers.”

The event will begin at 7pm and ends at midnight at O’jez restaurant, National stadium premises, Surulere-Lagos.
