Commited to provide better services to viewers across the nation and content on PlayTV, family entertainment TV channel, WapTV has commenced transmission on PlayTV, a popular satellite TV Provider with coverage across Nigeria and several parts of Africa.

Speaking about the development, WapTV Managing Director, Wole Adenuga said: “we have already started receiving positive response from PlayTV subscribers who have been commending our channel’s entertaining content and HD clarity.

Since WapTV launched in 2012, we have worked tirelessly to improve the quality of our programmes as well as expand our coverage.”

According to him, with millions of viewers daily, WapTV is one of the most-watched channels in Nigeria, adding that the TV channel has won several awards as a top entertainment satellite TV channel in Nigeria hence the need to expand.

Meanwhile talented youths across country seeking a career in broadcasting were recently auditioned for the role of presenters. The audition exercise held at PEFTI Film Institute, Ajao Estate, Isolo, Lagos.

“We need more TV presenters to join the team. We are looking for males and females between the ages of 21 and 30, who are lively, fluent in pidgin English and creative.

We equally need to emphasise that the audition is completely free so aspirants don’t get scammed by fraudulent individuals,” Adenuga said

The popular satellite TV provider recently signed music superstar Olamide as a brand ambassador is well received due to their wide range of over 40 premium local and international channels.
