Culture Icons Shine Brighter At Osun Award Night


PROMINENT culture and fashion ambassadors in the country have received recognition at Ethnic Fashion Show and Awards Night held in Osogbo, Osun State recently.

The event which ran as part of the activities of the 2015 Osun Festival also showcased some of the creative fashion designs in Nigeria.

The awardees of Outstanding Achievement in the promotion of culture and ethnic fashion are the Orangun of Oke-Ila, Oba Adedokun Abolarin; CEO of Nike Centre for Art and Culture, Oyenike Ekundaye; CEO Legendary Gold Limited, Lexy Mojo Eyes; veteran artist, Mrs Abiodun Duro Ladipo; veteran tie and dye designer, Mrs. Rafiatu Akanni popularly known as Iya Alaro and President of Fashion Designers Association of

Nigeria (FADAN), Mrs. Funmi Ajila Ladipo.

On the run way at the fashion show were 10 models.
