According to Nikos, FOTON has retained the number one position in Chinese commercial vehicle manufacturing sector for 11 consecutive years, stressing that the newly launched truck brands were built to meet the yearnings of Nigerians.

He said: “We see today’s launch of our new truck brands as a partners event. This is because it is customary for us to relate with our customers like partners. To this end, we must keep all our promises because we want a win-win situation between us and our partners.”

The company’s Brand Manager, FOTON, Mr. Temitope Falode, who unveiled the vehicles said he was happy to be introducing the trucks to industry stakeholders because “I have been into auto sales for many years and have seen so many brands but there is none that has thrilled me like FOTON”.

He said the BJ 1020 brand will offer users the benefits of High Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW), improved engine technology, long vehicle base and high pay load which would translate into higher earnings, while the BJ 1039 brand comes with the benefits of longer wheel base, less fuel consumption and good ground clearance.

He explained further that the BJ 1049 brand also has the benefits of high GVW, improved technology and a high fuel tank capacity of 120 litres, while the BJ 1069 boasts high GVW, longer wheel base and Diaphragm Spring Clutch, among other features.
