Rolari Jacka’s White Wedding Holds Today In The UK

THE much anticipated white wedding between Rolari, the grand daughter of the late Afro Beat King, Fela Anikulapo-Kuti and her Australian born fiance, Benedicta Jacka, will take place today in the United Kingdom.

The bride’s mother, Yeni Kuti, Femi Kuti and a few of the late Femi Segun’s family members are in London for the wedding. The white wedding is coming barely two months after the traditional wedding held in Lagos.

The ceremony had taken place at the new Afrika Shrine, Alausa, Ikeja, Lagos, where Kuti and Segun families received the large Jacka family from England to perform the traditonal rites as dictated by Yoruba culture. The colourful wedding ceremony attracted dignitaries from the government, business and entertainment circles.
